About Us

Pamodzi Consulting Limited is a Malawian consulting engineering company which is registered with the Registrar General and the National Construction Industry Council as a Class A. Consultant. The firm is duly registered for tax payment under TPIN: 20212560 and is tax compliant.

Pamodzi Consulting Ltd is a general infrastructure development consultant. The Company has expertise in highways, urban and rural transportation, water supply and sanitation, water resources management, building and structures, and environmental studies. The Company’s coverage includes feasibility studies, engineering surveys, preliminary and final engineering analysis and designs, preparation of tender documents, construction supervision, contract administration and management, quality control, situation analysis surveys, socio-economic and environmental impact assessment, resettlement action plans, project management, capacity building and technical training, financial control and management, and project monitoring and evaluation.

The experts of Pamodzi Consulting Limited have experience working with many multilateral and bilateral donor agencies, governments and several institutions. These include the World Bank, the European Union, African Development Bank, Abdab Fund, Kuwait Fund and Arab Bank. The local Institutions include Regional Water Boards, the Roads Authority, local authorities and various government ministries such as Local Government and Rural Development; Transport and Public Infrastructure; and Economic Planning and Development.

The training and experience of these experts is in planning, designs, construction management of engineering projects, strategic management, procurement, and monitoring and evaluation of projects. These experts have extensive capacity building skills and field experience in this region.

The vision of Pamodzi Consulting Limited is to take the consulting service provision in the region to another level of timely service delivery with full professional and strategic approach. The mission of Pamodzi Consulting Limited is to provide high-standard consulting services, to support the infrastructure development in the region and the world at large. Its management principle is open communication with the Client so that best solutions are formulated at first attempt to reduce project time and costs.

2.0 Offices

Pamodzi Consulting Limited is located at Plot No. 675, Area 47 sector4 in Mbwatalika Street in Lilongwe. The office is well established, complete with computerized facilities using the latest software technology for engineering analysis and design, surveying, accounting, management and other office support applications.

This is complemented by staff that is well trained in the computer technologies to optimise output. This staff will be available for the project needs. Additionally, if required by the Client and the nature of a project, the firm would establish additional offices that are deemed necessary to enhance project implementation.

3.0 Our Associates

Pamodzi Consulting Limited, as much as possible, supplement any project requirements from other associates nationally or internationally such as Group Consult Global (Pty) Ltd of Botswana, DIWI Consortium of Germany, EGIS of France, and Bua Consulting Engineers from Malawi.

4.0 Survey Equipment

The firm has in its possession necessary state of the art survey equipment for field and office work. Specifically, we have in our possession GIS Equipment, Total Stations, portable GPS Equipment, Theodolite, automatic levels, etc. and their accessories.

5.0 Transport and Communication

5.1 Vehicles

The firm has eight four-wheel drive vehicles, several pick-ups and saloons to effectively carry out its assignments. The firm also has twenty two motor-cycles which are used for project implementation especially in areas with very rough terrain. The fleet facilitates personnel mobility, which allows the Consultant to efficiently carry out all project assignments.

5.2 Website, Telephone, Fax, E-mail Services

The offices of the firm have modern communication facilities including local and international telecommunication connections for e-mail, fax and telephone. The Consultants’ Head Office has adequate communication facilities connected by wi-fi and LAN for e-mail, printing and internet access. The office has also telephone and faxes facilities; and has state of the art computers with latest software for design, monitoring, word processing and other related assignments to make the project a success. Printing facilities are available as well for all colour drawings up to A0 paper size and several heavy duty printers and copies of up to A3 paper size.
